Venice, one of the major tourist destinations of Italy, has been suffering due drought-like situation for the second time in a row. The city has been affected due to unprecedented heat caused due to less rainfall.
Poor snowfall has led to deficient rainfall resulting in low tides. The low tides have subsequently become a cause of worry for the Gondolas, and other water taxis and ambulances, as these cannot operate due to low water levels across Venice. Read more
