Australia’s Climate Change Law

The Australian Government has initiated its first climate change law in over a decade, putting acting on the climate crisis at the front end. The law includes National targets of reducing carbon emissions by at least 43% by 2030 (compared to 2005 levels) and reaching net zero by 2050.

However, it remains to be seen how the law gets implemented as labour sends mixed messages. Read more
