The “green” facility of Shell in Alberta which captured 5 million tonnes of CO2 between 2015-2019 from hydrogen that is produced in its complex; has a carbon footprint equivalent to fuel-powered cars emitting CO2 of around 1.2 million tonnes.
So, is SHELL really “climate-forward” OR No?
